New President of the KBA Board of Governors

The Kansas Bar Association recently announced that the new President of its Board of Governors is Lawrence attorney, Sarah Warner.

Sarah is a partner at Thompson Warner, P.A., in Lawrence, where her practice focuses on resolving state and federal constitutional claims; insurance disputes; and issues relating to banking and real estate. She also teaches Conflict of Laws and Appellate Practice as an adjunct professor at Washburn University School of Law. Warner earned her B.A. from KU in 2003 and her J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2006. Sara has served on the KBA Board of Governors as the District 2 Governor, Executive Committee, Board of Publishers and Annual Survey Committee. She is a member of the Kansas Board for Discipline of Attorneys and is President of the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel.
